My second child

Alright, I will post his baby picture here. He’s been asking me when will I do it since I post his brother’s baby picture. I am a fair person. Here you go. This one was shot on Sep 2000. He was about a month old. Nowadays, he is a big guy. We call him Little John, you know who it’s after, right? Pay attention to the yellow arrow. My daughter sneaked away when I was taking picture. Ha ha…

Pei Pa

This is the first time I eat these fruits. They have four pits inside and the peel is not eatable. But they taste sweet and juicy. They are original from Asia. I was surprise to see somebody grow it here. Here are some pictures of my girls. They seem like the fruits. And I had to tickle her in order to get them back after the pictures were taken.

Househusband

My husband is a househusband. It sounds interesting. That’s because he is the one who decides what to do in the house. Everything from buying grocery to arranging furniture. He is the boss. Everybody knows homemaker is the one who is in charge in the household. But not me . The SF housewife has nothing to worry about.

Hybrid cars

I see them everywhere when I walk on the street. People are proud to have one. Here is another trailer with full load of new cars that ready for sale. This Japanese company has been successfully taking up the US market. It’s because they were the first one to mass producing hybrid cars before the gas price went above $4, looks like it will go up to $5 in a short future. I hope more American auto companies will learn from Toyota. Are the US auto companies control by the oil guys? Just guessing.

Apricot tree

We have an apricot tree in front of our house. It was plant by my husband when he was a kid. It survives after the main branch fell down few years ago, although it looks a little bit strange but it still producing fruits. Now the fruits are getting ripe, I'm sure they draw a lot of admire attention from every passers who are walking up and down the block.

Innocent?

Who said this is fake? The most lovable, innocent, unconditional smiles on the earth are from the children. No matter how upset you are, once you see a smiling face like that, you will calm down immediately. The children love their parents no matter what. This's call unconditional love. Sorry, I can’t write anymore, my kids are climbing all over me. Later !

Amazing web

I found this image of Yuen Long Hong Kong in the web unexpectedly yesterday, it made me pause for a minute to think about my childhood. The second building on the left is my former home. I spent most of my childhood there. It really brings back a lot of memory.

Salvation Army

They’ve opened a new store in our neighborhood. We checked it out the other day. They sale furniture, home appliance and cloths. The price is reasonable. Just for frugal people like us.
Hey, this bear skin is a little bit too luxurious cost $285.

Good Hair Day

“Thank you Mama for fixing my hair”. That’s all I would like to hear from her after all this work. As you know, that’s because of their father’s gene, they have thin and soft hair, very dense. Not like mine, mine is coarse and straight. It needs more attention for their hair. But it’s worth all the effort.

Mini skirt

I’m wondering when I see this picture. Will Fanny become heartbreaker someday? I hope not. Heartbreaker is not a good name. Anyway, it’s been noisy on the Independence Day night because of the illegal fireworks and fire trucks going around town. Luckily we had good night sleep in the past two nights. Therefore, we went out for a walk in the park, look at, Fanny was so happy!

Fourth of July

Now I know what its mean when somebody tells me put down a John Hancock. It means sign my name. I’ve raised interest to look it up the history of Declaration of Independence. The congressmen were the fathers of the nation. They risked their lives to start this revolution. If they did not success that they all would be hang. Nowadays, we celebrate it by having bbq or go to see the fireworks but we would not go tonight because what happened last time. There were people using illegal fireworks around us at Aquatic Park beach. It almost landed on our head when one was explode. And I don’t like the heavy traffic after the show therefore we won’t go.

Irish Oatmeal

We had three cans of this thing in the kitchen cabinet for long time. Yesterday, I was in a hurry try to cook something for afternoon snack. I pull some of it in the sauce pan without looking closely. But when it’s time to turn off the heat I found that the stuff inside the sauce pan was not oatmeal. It was bird seed. Somebody had been using the same can for bird seed container. Gosh……after I put milk and sugar in it. Well! I’m not going to waste my food. We will go feed the ducks.
