Oil Price

High oil price is affecting our life. It costs more for the framers to grow crops, truck drivers to drive their trucks, store owners to run their businesses and finally cost us more to buy food. I hope we all use reusable energies instead of oil. Say goodbye to oil.

Do not touch

My daughter is very curious, she will touch any new things that she see, it remind me the Jimmy Kimmel Show. One time they’re talking about a picture that was taken in Forbidden City Beijing China. There was a sign that said, “Do not feel”, obviously it has an incorrect meaning, and it was put there to tell people do not touch anything. Will anyone get it?

4 Kids

There is a Chinese poem about a pair of swallow . They raised four chicks in their nest
on the beam of a house. The parents worked hard to find food for the chicks, and took good care of them, later on the chicks got big enough to learn flying, but once they flied into the sky, they did not come back, and the parents were making sound try to call them back, but they were all gone. The parents were very sad in their empty nest. It reminded them when they left their own parents, now they realize how hurt it was.

My dearest grandmother 2

Fortunately my grandmom recovered from it, believe it or not, that medicine wine cured her, and she even had 4 more babies later. My grandfather got a job in the US Navy as a kitchen supply buyer since WWII. He was away from home all the time. He only came home once or twice a year. My grandmom had to take care 5 kids all by herself. One time there was a fire near where they live. She moved all the big things out from the home by herself, later she said, “it’s must be the God helping me.” She only weight 90 pounds at that time. Women nowadays think having more than 2 kids is nuts. I heard that comment all the time, but when you think about the older generation, they must be doing something incredible to achieve it.

My dearest grandmother

This picture was take in 1995, during my grandmother’s visit in San Francisco. She passed away in 2001, she used to tell me stories about the good old days and the not good old days. After she gave birth to my father 7 days, the Japanese invasion had begun. My grandparent had no choice, they had to give up all their properties and left for Hong Kong. They took train which was very crowded , on the way they had to jump out of the train when they heard the air raid siren, and even jump into the river for hiding, that’s how she got sick when they arrived Hong Kong. They tried every doctor they could find, she could not nurse the baby, had to let a servant to took care my father. Later, they were introduced by friend that there was a medicine wine which made of baby mice, which would cure my grandmother……to be continue.

Mayor Newsom was right on torch run

The torch run was cut short to avoid people get hurt and the embarrassment to San Francisco. The world got to see the torch lighting ceremony and the relay. I was very impress by SF Police Department. Everybody happy except those people who waited there for hours but I think they got to participate the freedom of speech is more important.

Olympic torch run

The whole world will watch this event through TV, I am one of them. There was a torch runner in the news this morning ,his name was Dean Karnazes, he is a truly athlete and he is a Greek American , that’s why he’s so proud for being a torch runner. He said Olympic is for the athlete of the world, it’s wrong to connect it to politic. The reporter ask him that some saying today’s run should be cancel, but he said it should not, because it’s a symbol of the spirit of athlete.
